"Amethyst Coast" is an abandoned amethyst deposit on the coast of the White Sea. Another name of this place - "Cape Ship" Since 1986 it has the status of the State Geological Natural Monument on the territory of the Tersk District of the Murmansk Region. The monument has aesthetic, educational, historical and cultural significance.
