Pavlovsk
Of all the suburbs of St. Petersburg that served as royal residences, Pavlovsk emerged later than the others. The vast lands were donated to Paul in 1777 by his mother Catherine II on the occasion of the birth of his first child, the future Emperor Alexander I.
