This year, the tradition of holding parades on the Day of the Navy is reviving in Russia. The main naval parade took place in the historical part of St. Petersburg and in Kronstadt. As follows from the historical annals, the first parade of the Russian fleet was held by Peter I back in 1699 on March 18.
