For many years, Crobelus served as a prophetess. Her services were highly valued, and only the richest could afford to look beyond the threshold of death with her eyes. In the end, Krobelus wanted to know what fate had in store for herself. But this time, death refused to reveal its secrets. In her hearts, the prophetess decided to pay the most dear ones - with her life. However, this was not enough. Greedy death rejected her over and over again, refusing to reveal her hidden secrets. Envy began to grow in Krobelus. “If the rest is given to die forever - why can't I? Why do I return to this mortal life again and again? Why have I been deprived of that one thing that other mortals take for granted? " - she was indignant. Despite the obstacles, Krobelus did not give up her attempts. Every time she rose from the grave, she carried with her a piece of death. The shadows of the dead returned with her - at times it seemed that it was her own soul that had been shattered into many fragments. Her blood faded more and more and began to look more like ectoplasm, and the inhabitants of the twilight worlds had already begun to take it for their own. Dying, each time the prophetess was deprived of a grain of life, and it already began to seem to her that the end was near. Now with even greater zeal, Crobelus rushes into the arms of death in an attempt to fulfill his own unfulfilled prophecy, in the hope that one day death will take her once and for all.
