Aleksandrovskaya Colonna is a monument in the Empire style, located in the center of the Palace Square in St. Petersburg. It was erected in 1834 by the architect Auguste Montferrand by decree of Emperor Nicholas I in memory of the victory of his older brother Alexander I over Napoleon. It is under the jurisdiction of the State Hermitage [2].
