Through historical research by costume designer Sandy Powell, the titled person (Emily Blunt) appears in the film in a wedding dress similar to her original, which remembers Kensington Palace. The outfit is made of ivory silk satin and antique lace. Her jewelry also corresponds to reality, among them a pendant with the Order of St. George, an antique crystal necklace and a sapphire brooch.
