One of the highlights of Normandy's famous Alabaster Coast, the Benedictine Palace, is located in Fécamp, a fishing port on the English Channel. The Benedictine Palace was built in the eclectic style. Gothic Revival, Neo-Renaissance and Art Nouveau are mixed here. The palace houses the Museum, the Hall of Spices and a distillery. The Museum contains a collection of art of the XIV-XVI centuries, the beginning of which was laid by Alexander Legrand, a gallery of modern art, a collection of enamels, ivory, iron, etc. Even those who have not heard of the monastic exploits of the Benedictine Order have certainly heard about the Benedictine liqueur , and seaside Fekam is exactly the birthplace of this exciting drink.
