On the territory of the Swedish province called Skane, you can see more than 350 castles and old manors. Trolleholm Castle stands out against their background, having visited it, visitors are transported into a fairy tale. It was restored in the 19th century. The castle is now decorated in an early Renaissance style. The first information about Trolleholm Castle dates back to 1538, when the province of Skane was still under Danish rule. Previously, this castle was called Erisholm, but in the 20s of the 18th century it was sold. Since the new owner's name was Fredrik Trolle, he decided to rename the castle in his honor. The height of Trolleholm is 4 floors. The castle is surrounded on four sides by high towers with cone-shaped roofs. The palace collection of various works of art is striking, as well as a library consisting of valuable volumes of books.
