Rob Gonsalves paints fairy-tale worlds in which people become clouds and the sky becomes the sea.
The style in which the world famous artist paints is called surrealism by some, but the name "magical realism" better describes what the viewer sees in the paintings of Gonsalves - a magical unification of worlds, imperceptible metamormoses and the flow of objects from one hypostasis to another.
At the age of 12, Rob became interested in architecture, became interested in perspective and began to paint his first works on which were invented by him buildings. Architecture still occupies one of the central places in the work of Gonsalves. But there was much more magical realism in them - an alternative reality became the essence of his work.
