One of the most famous and expensive emerald jewelry is the Queen Victoria Tiara. Made in the neo-Gothic style, the tiara was presented as a gift to Victoria by her husband, Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. He made a significant contribution to the development of the design of the product, which turned out to be surprisingly elegant and at the same time laconic.
The "Esmeralda" tiara is composed of emeralds of different sizes with round, square and pear-shaped cut. The purest stones are shaded with small diamonds, creating a dazzling play of light. The exact location of the tiara is now unknown - but Queen Victoria bequeathed to keep it in the family until the last descendant of the family leaves this world.
