Serpent-Gorynych - personifies evil in folk tales and epics of the Slavs. In different legends, the description of the Snake differs, which is why it is very difficult to draw up an accurate portrait of this character. But it is generally accepted that the Serpent-Gorynych is a talking dragon-like creature, with three heads, with a tail and copper claws, that has the ability to breathe fire, while releasing smoke from its ears. The Snake can have from 3 to 12 heads, and from 1 to 7 tails, depending on the source. The Snake moves through the air, but fairy tales are silent about the presence of wings. In the view of modern man, the Serpent is identical to the winged dragon with three heads.
