This watercolor of Olga Alexandrovna (1882-1960), Grand Duchess of the Romanovs' house, shows the environment in which she lived in exile, in Denmark, in a small estate in the town of Ballerup. It was the happiest period in her life.
The paintings of the Grand Duchess brought her family a livelihood. They were instantly sold at the annual bazaar, which was then organized by the Russian Orthodox Church in Copenhagen.
