The personality of the Grand Duchess deserves special attention, not only because she is from the Imperial House, but primarily because she was an amazing woman who devoted a significant part of her conscious life to the feat of charity and mercy.
Olga Aleksandrovna carried the artist's talent throughout her life. Despite the blows of fate, the august artist did not lose her cheerfulness. She found beauty in prosaic things: a country road, a tea table, a birthday cake, flowers - everything became an object of art in her hands.
