"Nameless Height" - the monument is located in St. Petersburg, Vsevolozhsky district of the Leningrad region on the right bank of the Neva. The embankment hill rises to a height of over 20 m. This monument is dedicated to the defenders of Leningrad, who in the fall of 1941 did not allow German troops to cross the Neva. The Germans needed to get to the right bank, where they could merge with the Finnish troops. However, the soldiers of the 1st and 115th rifle divisions, together with the sailors-artillerymen, prevented the implementation of such plans.
"Nameless Height" reminds of this starting point of defense .. It is one of the most magnificent monuments of the "Green Belt of Glory"
