Rural landscape

Michael Humphries was born in Tampa, Florida. At the age of 12, his penchant for drawing grew into a passion, Michael was looking for every opportunity to observe nature and paint a picture. After serving in Vietnam, he continued his art education at the College of Art at the Design Center in Pasadena, California, where he currently teaches. The artist's paintings are capable of raising the mood, causing an involuntary smile and inexplicable confusion of feelings. This is probably because they are very bright, surprisingly accurately traced in every detail and, as they say, "from childhood."
