Opolovnik

Opolovnik (or long-tailed tit) is one of the most charming birds in our latitudes. These amazing creatures look like small fluffy balls with long tails and in shape, from a distance, resemble a kitchen ladle, hence the name of the bird. In the 19th century, birders considered it the most beautiful of the small birds in Russia and called it “Apollonovka”.
