An integral part of the Soviet applied art of the post-October period is the "propaganda" Soviet porcelain made at the State Leningrad Porcelain Factory (formerly the Imperial Porcelain Factory). It was destined to become one of the most convincing monuments of this time.
In porcelain, a chamber art form, came the art of the street, posters, decoration of revolutionary holidays, and the art of monumental propaganda.
Soviet porcelain of the 1920s and 1930s is characterized by an amazing quality and variety of painting, impeccable decorativeness and expressiveness of images. Most often, propaganda porcelain was exhibited at Soviet and international exhibitions, in shop windows, and was practically inaccessible to the layman. Porcelain of the first decades of the Soviet era remained a unique and unique phenomenon for the history of the Soviet country, and has no analogues in the world
