One of the parts of the diptych of the same name by Serbian realist artist Uros Predic.
Predich created the left half of the composition shown here in 1918, and the right half only in 1936. Then he added a unifying frame and inscriptions. Thus, the creative project was waiting for its completion for about twenty years!
The plot of the picture was suggested by Branko Radichevich's poem "A Girl at the Spring" (there is also a song to these verses): a handsome black-eyed fellow asked the girl to drink, she handed him water, but her hand trembled from embarrassment and the awkwardly served jug broke.
