Louis Icart (fr.Louis Icart) - French artist
and an illustrator. He portrayed almost exclusively young and beautiful women in various environments, with a small addition of dogs, cats, horses, birds, monkeys and men. His oil paintings are made in the style of late impressionism. However, most of Icarus's creative heritage is made up of watercolors and graphic works that belong to the Art Deco direction. A certain glamor of themes and plots (from a certain moment Icarus used his wife Fanny as a model - this can explain the clearly visible similarity between the characters displayed by him) allows Icarus to be considered as one of the clear pioneers of the Pin Up style.
