James Noble was born in 1919 in Hounslow, England. Studied drawing in London with the renowned Scottish artist Ian MacNab. He painted mainly still lifes with flowers, he was inspired by the work of Dutch artists of the 17th century. The artist's first solo exhibition was held in London in 1957 with great success.
