Spetses Island
Pantelis Zografos was born in Athens and lived in Greece until 1971, until he matured and decided to move to the United States of America. The artist lives there to this day. Pantelis was named after his grandfather. In his works, Zografos uses watercolor, although sometimes he uses oil. Watercolors with views of Greece are a tribute to the Motherland that raised him and the people who shaped him as a person. Nostalgia for the native land is evident in each picture. Perhaps it is precisely because of the remoteness from the place where he was born that the paintings come out so touching and real.
