Kazakhstan
Lake Kaindy - located in the Tien Shan mountain system - is a natural landmark of Kazakhstan. The highlight is that spruce trunks peep out of the water. In 1911, during an earthquake, a mountain collapse occurred here, which formed a natural dam, the gorge was filled with water, which flooded the natural forest. The tops of the fir trees sticking out from the surface of the lake resemble lifeless spaces of burnt lands. But under the turquoise color of the water, you can find perfectly preserved branches and needles.
