In a certain kingdom, in a certain state there lived a rich
merchant, eminent person.
He had a lot of all kinds of wealth, expensive goods
overseas, pearls, precious stones, gold and silver
treasury and that merchant had three daughters, all three beauties
written, and the smallest is the best; and he loved his daughters more
