Howard Behrens is a progressive American painter who is justly called the "Monet of the 21st Century". Howard Behrens is an artist who seems to be a one-of-a-kind skilled craftsman with a knife on a palette, that is, using a knife instead of a brush. He started painting at the age of 17, being bedridden due to an accident. He was formally educated at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he was awarded the title of Master of Painting and Sculpture.
