France. Balroi Palace was built in the 17th century. for the royal adviser to Henry IV, Jean I de Choisy. Over the decades, the palace has changed hands more than once. In 1970, it was acquired by the billionaire and editor of the famous Forbes magazine, Malcolm Forbes. The American magnate was actively fond of aeronautics and since 1990 Balroi has become the venue for the International Balloon Festival.
