One of the most beautifully flowering plants in the world in the world is considered the African tulip tree or Spathodea campanulata. Collected in lush inflorescences, the flowers of this tree are orange-red in color and resemble tulip flowers in shape.
The people call the spatodea a "fire tree", as it blooms all year round, and its buds look very expressive on the forest of dark green foliage.
In nature, the tulip tree reaches a height of 7 to 25 meters and is native to the dry tropical forests of Africa. The open, bowl-shaped flowers trap moisture from rain dew, which attracts many bird species, and nectar is popular with hummingbirds. Spatodea wood is soft and is used by birds to build their nests.
During the period when the tree is not blooming, it does not lose its attractiveness due to large rough leaves growing 13-15 pieces on one branch. Long-lasting - lives up to 500 years.
