France. Archival records show that in 1686-1689. Pierre de Rosan founded the great estate at Pauillac. The estate was supposed to receive his name, but was transferred as a dowry to his daughter, who married Baron de Longueville Jacques de Pichon, the first president of the Parliament of Bordeaux. Thus began the history of one of the largest vineyards in Bordeaux, which for over 250 years was under the control of one family. Wine Château Pichon Longueville (Château Pichon-Longueville) is made from vines aged 30 years, planted mainly in the historic terroir of the estate of 73 hectares. This wine is strong, rich in tannins and characterized by its elegance and power. It has an exceptionally long-lasting taste and has remarkable aging potential.
