Skotney Castle in Kent, on the Beul River
located on an island in the middle of a small lake and surrounded by
gardens. The gardens are famous for their rhododendrons, wisteria,
azaleas and roses. The castle is part of an old
estate, built in the XVI century. and now lying in ruins. FROM
1970 the castle is protected by the National Trust. There is a legend
that in the castle there is a trembling wet ghost, which is something
looking for. They say that this man was a customs official,
executed for bribes.
