Decembrist

The sprawling Decembrist with its forms resembles a friendly creature who bows to everyone with a smile. His smile becomes especially welcoming during flowering. In the darkest time of the year, when the sun hides in the clouds for weeks, and the drizzling rains in November do not contribute to a good mood, the buds of the Decembrists begin to swell. At first, you notice that at the ends of the fan-shaped, branched flat shoots, tiny pink-red balls have appeared, which rather quickly thicken and lengthen. And zygocactus will bloom in the cold winter month, in December, as if opposing its affectionate soul to the short, cloudy days of the end of the year. How much joy and spring mood this little guest from Brazil brings to our home.
