Few people know that the sculpture "Motherland - Mother Calls" on the Mamayev Kurgan in Stalingrad is only the second part of the composition of three monuments with the sword of Victory in different cities. The first part of "Rear to Front" is in Magnitogorsk, where the Victory sword was forged. On it, a worker hands over a sword to a soldier. "Motherland" symbolizes that the sword was raised in Stalingrad. And the third monument "Warrior - Liberator" is in Berlin, where the Soviet soldier-liberator lowered this sword.
