Kuklensky Monastery "Saints Cosmas and Damian"
Kuklen Monastery is located near the city of Plovdiv, 2 kilometers from the town of Kuklen, in the Rhodope Mountains. In Bulgaria, he is better known by his popular name "Holy Doctors" (Sveti Vrachove). The monastery was built at the end of the 10th century and contains a holy relic - the hand of St. Cosmas. Next to the gates of the holy monastery is Ayazmoto - a spring with healing water. An inscription from 1795 has survived in the monastery, which says that the living water of Saints Cosmas and Damian gives strength to souls and bodies and heals those who came to the spring with pure faith and draws water to heal from any disease.
