The Museum-Reserve of I.S. Turgenev 'Spasskoye-Lutovinovo' is a unique monument of the history and culture of Russia, where the magnificent park of the beginning of the 19th century, the manor house of the great writer, the Church of the Savior's Transfiguration of the Lord, the literary museum 'the outbuilding's wing' and outbuildings are carefully preserved. The Spasskoye-Lutovinovo estate is the native nest of I.S. Turgenev. He spent his childhood here, he came here more than once in adulthood. In Spassky, Turgenev worked on the creation of the novels 'Rudin', 'Fathers and Sons', 'Noble Nest', etc.
