Eguisheim is a commune in France, located in the Alsace region. It is believed that it was here that Alsatian winemaking originated in the 4th century. Eguisheim is one of the most beautiful and typically Alsatian villages. In 2006, Eguisheim won the gold medal of the European competition for towns and villages "Golden Flower of Europe".
