Ancano is a noble Altmer ("high elf") from TES V: Skyrim. He resides in the Winterhold College of Mages and works for a faction called the Thalmor (a group of elves bound by political aspirations). In the process of passing the game, Ankano's fate ends tragically: he dies, falling under the influence of a powerful ancient artifact.
