Brooch "Flamingo"

Jewelry House Cartier Paris. The Flamingo brooch is a brooch made of diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds combined with white gold. It is decorated with elongated baguette-cut stones.
The brooch was presented in 1940 to the Duchess of Windsor, also known as Wallis Simpson. This is a woman, for the sake of marrying whom Prince Edward VIII of Wales renounced the British throne in favor of his descendants, having received the title of Duke of Windsor from his younger brother-king.
