In the fabulous Middle-earth, west of the Brandywine River, lies the emerald Shire - the greenest country in the kingdom. The largest village in the Shira was precisely Hobbiton, in which 44 hobbit caves, winding streets, an arch bridge, a mill and a pub - all this is Hobbiton, a fairytale village from the books of Tolkien. Once in perfectly round holes, dug into green hills, there were pens for sheep. But once this place caught the eye of Peter Jackson, who, inspired, decided to "found" a hobbit settlement here. The Sheep Farm was quickly rebuilt in Hobbiton, where scenes from the Lord of the Rings trilogy and later the movie The Hobbit were eventually filmed.
Hobbiton Village is very popular with tourists. There are daily excursions during which you can explore the dwellings of hobbits (although they are not allowed inside the minks), drink beer in the Green Dragon pub and take a lot of pictures against the background of almost cartoon landscapes. This village allows you to plunge into at least a fairy tale, all the habits associated with stuffy urbanized cities; it will help you to relax and just enjoy the beauty of this region.
Sit back and plunge into a world of adventure and fantasy for a few minutes. But there is a place on our planet where a fairy tale has come true.
