Serge Ivanov Studio

Sergei Petrovich Ivanov (fr. Serge Ivanoff, Serge Ivanov; December 25, 1893 - February 8, 1983) - Russian portrait painter in exile.

Alexander Borisovich Serebryakov is a painter, graphic artist, theater artist, son of the artist Z.E. Serebryakova.
In his work, he followed the artistic tradition of the masters of the "World of Art" association. He created works that were chamber in nature, distinguished by their miniature writing, stylized images, the predominance of the graphic element over the picturesque, decorative colors. He worked mainly in the watercolor technique.
The artist spent his childhood in St. Petersburg in the Neskuchnoye estate. He did not receive a systematic art education, studied mostly independently. In 1925 he went abroad and after a number of moves settled with his mother in Paris.
