Nicholas Trudgian was born in Plymouth, England in 1959. Since the 1980s, it has become widely known in the world.
His path as an artist was very difficult. After graduating from college, contrary to the advice of loved ones who said that the artist would starve to death before he earned money, he really ran into problems.
Nobody wanted to buy the works of an unknown artist. He found himself in commercial illustration, worked for well-known companies for over 10 years, painted for Ferrari, Jaguar, Ford, General Motors, Alfa Romeo, as well as for shipping and construction companies. It would still work like that, if not for a lucky break.
Towards the end of the 1980s, Nicholas received an offer to work for the War Gallery. After completing a series of aviation posters, including giant paintings commemorating the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Royal Air Force, his work was published in a limited edition in 1991.
His painting is notable for its precise image. He strives for maximum historical accuracy, for which his works are especially appreciated by collectors.
