Portugal
Santana is a charming town in the northeast of Madeira Island (autonomous region of Portugal), famous for its unique colored triangular houses built of stone and roofs of thatch and thatch. Having come to us from the 16th century, today most of them are cherished and served for showing to tourists.
This region lives mainly in agriculture, crafts and traditions. The mountainous landscapes are dominated by lush and green, covered with Laurisilva forest, which has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, encouraging the locals to do their best to maintain this beauty.
