France. 13th century castle. In the middle of the 14th century, Pimarten was captured by the British, but already in the middle of the 15th century it again became part of France. In the 18th century, the Pimarten castle fell into disrepair and only 100 years later was it restored in the neo-Gothic style. According to legend, a lady in white walks around the castle, the ghost of Thérèse de Saint-Clar, who was imprisoned in a small room of the castle for 15 years, after her husband found her with her lover. The husband immediately killed the lover, and kept his wife in the room until her death, food was passed to her through a hatch in the ceiling.
