France. In the Loire Valley, there is the medieval Château de Chenonceau, which impresses with its innovative architecture, luxury of interior decoration and beauty of the landscape. Bright country residence is located near the French city of Tours. Its elegant appearance really matches its second name - Ladies Castle. The fate of many amazing women is directly connected with this name: Diane de Poitiers, Catherine de Medici, Louise Vedomon, Louise Dupin, Madame Peluz, Henri Meunier. Now the castle is crowned with many high spiers, stone pipes, and also has four corner turrets. The decorative roof windows add a special elegance to the building. On the one hand, Chenonceau offers a magnificent view of the park, on the other - the enchanting expanse of the Cher River. On the adjacent territory there are two amazing and graceful gardens - "Catherine's Garden" and "Diana's Garden". In the castle you can see expensive tapestries, antique furniture, marble fireplaces and household items. The service building houses a wax museum and wine tasting in the wine cellar. In summer, the chateau hosts the "Ladies of Chenonceau" performance.
