Suzhou is the Chinese Venice, a city charming with its paradise gardens.
All of them are true masterpieces of landscape architecture.
The history of the local classical gardens can be traced back to the 6th century. BC. By the time of the Ming and Qing dynasties, Suzhou had become a garden city with more than 200 gardens.
Each such garden is a small miracle of art, a model of nature in all its perfection. Such gardens arose at the request of the elected representatives of the Chinese society, who, having retired, wanted to enjoy the joys and beauty of the world. Here, far from the bustle of the capital, closer to nature, they created magnificent gardens.
All parks bear poetic names: Humble Official's Garden, Tiger Hill, Lion's Cave Garden, Net Master's Garden, Harmony Garden, Fragrant Herb Garden, Mountain Villa, etc. A whole legend is hidden behind each name.


Baysa Ta Pagoda - the largest pagoda in Suzhou, is the symbol of the city of Suzhou. The height of the Beisyt pagoda is 76 meters, it has 9 tiers and 8 walls, the cornices look on all 4 sides, the base of the pagoda is 870 sq.m. On the territory of the pagoda, walls in the form of butterflies have been erected on both sides, ancient sandal trees grow around the pagoda, and the whole area is surrounded by a low fence.
