Monbazillac Castle

Monbazillac is a castle in the south-west of France, a few kilometers from Bergerac. Founded in 1550, Monbazillac Castle is still the same as it was built by the d'Edi family more than four hundred years ago. Only overripe grapes are harvested, the sugar content of which is increased due to the so-called "noble mold" that appears on the bunches in autumn. Thanks to a careful selection of grapes and a special manufacturing process, Monbazillac wines are golden in color with an uncommon bouquet of aromas.
