Luitla Duimun is the smallest and only uninhabited of the 18 main Faroe Islands located between Scotland and Iceland. Area 0.8 km². The highest point is Mount Ravan, 414 meters high. The island is uninhabited.
The name "Duimun" is supposedly derived from the Celtic language and means "two hills". This refers to the two mountains on the neighboring islands Big and Small Duimun.
Little Duimun has never been inhabited. Its only inhabitants are sheep and puffins. Sheep have been grazed here since ancient times
The island has the poorest flora of the Faroe Islands, with only eight plant species.
