Freudenberg

Freudenberg (Siegerland) is a city in Germany, in North Rhine-Westphalia. Freudenberg is located in the historic Siegerland region, in a hilly, mid-mountain landscape. Alte Flecken is the center of Freudenberg, built entirely in half-timbered style. In general, the city center looks like a small town of the 17th century. Alte Flecken is included in the Cultural Atlas of Westphalia as a “building monument of international importance”. Such a historic city center, built in a half-timbered style, is nowhere else in the world.
