Le Louis XV restaurant in Monaco is renowned for its lush royal interiors and excellent cuisine. Le Louis XV is the first restaurant of the famous chef Alain Ducasse to receive the highest award in the restaurant world - three Michelin stars. Having opened 25 years ago at the Hotel De Paris on the Casino Square in Monte Carlo, the restaurant has gained fame as one of the best establishments in Monaco and amazes guests with complex Mediterranean cuisine, for which Ducasse's friend and colleague Franck Cerutti is responsible here. The collection of wines from the restaurant's own cellar, which has several thousand copies, deserves special attention.
The palace interior of the restaurant in the spirit of Versailles impresses with its high ceilings with gilded moldings, expensive crystal, antique accessories, mirrored walls with classic tapestries and huge panoramic windows.
The average bill in the Le Louis XV restaurant is from 100 euros per person, and it is advisable to book a table at least a week before the expected date of visit. In 2012, in honor of the anniversary of Le Louis XV, the restaurant has a special festive menu, which was personally developed by Alain Ducasse. All guests will have to take care of the outfit in advance: the restaurant has a black tie dress code.
