Magnificent century
"The Magnificent Century" is a Turkish action-packed TV series in the genre of historical drama, written by Meral Okay. The series tells about the most notable events of the reign of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and about his relationship with the concubine of Slavic origin Alexandra (in the Ukrainian TV show - Anastasia), who converted to Islam and received the name Khyurrem. Alexandra was captured by the Crimean Tatars in her hometown and in 1520 she was transported to Istanbul, where she ended up in the palace of the young Sultan Suleiman. Becoming a beloved concubine, and later the wife of the Sultan, Alexandra Anastasia Lisowska neutralizes everyone who can interfere with the realization of her ambitions in the sultanate.
