Desperate Housewives
Desperate Housewives is an American tragicomedy television series created by Mark Cherry. It premiered on October 3, 2004 and aired its finale on May 13, 2012. The plot focuses on the lives of four housewife friends living on a street called Wisteria Lane in the fictional American town of Fairview. The story begins with their friend, fifth housewife Mary Alice Young, committing suicide by shooting herself in her house when she receives a threatening note from an anonymous author. Each episode in a satirical manner narrates the life of the inhabitants of a quiet suburb, through the eyes of the deceased Mary Alice Young.
