Reflections of Eterna
Reflections of Eterna is a series of fantasy novels written by Vera Kamsha. Consists of five books - "Red on Red", "From War to War", "Victory Face", "Winter Break" and the "Heart of the Beast" trilogy, many of which, in turn, are divided into several parts-volumes. The novels take place in a fictional world called Cartiana, which is in turn one of the worlds of the great "Necklace". The necklace is surrounded by a mystical entity called "Alien" in the novels, which seeks to devour it. The alien is held back at the Line by the so-called Guardians of the Dusk, also known as the Lonely. For a long time, the base of the Lonely was the citadel of Eterna (after which the cycle is named), but for unnamed reasons it was destroyed. With the destruction of Eterna, the Guardians lost most of their powers, including the ability to create their own kind. At the same time, in the worlds they protect, "rattons" appeared - creatures that destroy worlds from the inside, killing someone else's joy and bringing envy, anger and fear. The lonely are unable to fight the rattons, and although this is within the power of mortal people who live in the worlds of the Necklace, people do not know about them and do not want to know about them. Cartiana is one of the worlds that will soon be destroyed by the Rattons.
