Halloween
Halloween is a modern international holiday that goes back to the traditions of the ancient Celts of Ireland and Scotland. Celebrated every year on October 31, on the eve of All Saints Day. Halloween is traditionally celebrated in Western Europe and America, although it is not an official day off. Since the end of the 20th century, during the process of globalization, the fashion for Halloween paraphernalia has also emerged in most of the countries of Eastern Europe and the CIS. Halloween is celebrated informally in some other countries that have close cultural ties with the United States or Great Britain, for example, in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, in several island countries of Oceania.
